And now, after several years of waxwings they appeared at us. These beautifully colored birds rejoice eye. It was a lot of snow and frost below -10 degrees contributed to their arrival. Just before noon, I saw a large herd on the old lime tree next to the garden, where there is a lot of viburnum shrubs. Fruit is a lot. There, I see fieldfares, when the goods also taste now viburnum berries. It seems to me, how long will the berries, so they will be here. Photographing is not easy enough space available, easily frightened birds, frost and -12 degrees can not help.

It seemed that winter is over. On Saturday from early morning frost and fog. The sun's rays can not penetrate to the ground. I used this time to shoot. Initially visibility was about 30 meters. A little later, the fog thinned and appeared dim sun. I think this is the best moment for a good picture, methyl it was difficult to find interesting motives. So far I have not had the opportunity to watch bison in the wild. Coming to Hajnówka just before Nowosady village, which lies on the edge of Bialowieza Forest, we saw in the distance a huge herd of bison. I think that there were about 60-80. They were at a considerable distance of about 500-700 meters. The weather was very cloudy, foggy, and even lightly snowing. I decided to do some photos.
   The next day, I returned by the same route and in the same place, the herd was still. There were fewer of them, and probably part of their departed. Also I am photographed from the same place. The weather was similar to the previous day. I have not had time to wander closer to the snow-covered field. I saw a few photographers who came to shoot bison and approached the herd at a distance of about 100 m. The Bison almost did not react to people, slowly moving.

Many of us talk about the great invasion of beavers. I remember when it was said that only beavers lived somewhere near the lake Wigry. Now they can be found even along small streams and small rivers. Here in the north of the province, they have lived in small numbers in 70 years. In the south of the province literally 10 years ago. Here in my environment I know the four places where beavers live. Two of them are over the river Sidra. The other two along the nearby stream, which is surrounded by a pretty large clusters of trees, mainly alder. One of them is just off the road and ponds. Built by the beaver dam was still destroyed, but half a year beavers have peace. The fourth position is huge. There is until 4 huge dams, increasing the water level. Sunk is a large area of ​​the forest. The trees are already dead. There beavers nobody bothers. The easiest way to get there in the winter. You can accurately view, moving around the ice. This is my first post in this new year. Yesterday was cloudy, but I brought ski camera. I saw young people away on horseback. Sure it was a fun trip in the midst of fields and meadows in the snow. I made them a few pictures from quite a distance. Because I used a tripod, and so in these weather conditions photos were successful. Meanwhile, I had too easily after the deep snow. Winter in November letter has arrived, but for a short time. This happened twice in December. Always then came warming, fog and rain. And here on January 3 begins another period of winter probably already true. Snow fell admittedly not very abundant. But the frost with every day grew larger, and the morning of January 7 we had already -23 degrees. On the road is very slippery, the salt in that temperature does not work. Birds looking for food near human settlements. I have not seen fieldfares in large herds sit on jarzębinach, głogach, wild grape looking for frozen fruit.
