end of holiday

Today is the last day of vacation, and of the end of summer. Do not expect to have hot days that now are much shorter and the nights colder. Who has free time, it is still plenty of opportunity to relax on the background of nature. Now you can spend time in silence without the rush of tourists. sunrises and sunsets can be very charming and colorful. Lakes anglers often meet, sometimes tourists on kayaks. Here are some of the last to stay on the lake Mikaszewo.

large copper (Lycaena dispar)

Approaching autumn and butterflies wanes. Some species just about this time of the easiest to find. Wandering along the edge of the woods looking for mushrooms, but also watched the insects. I saw a few, but they flew and waited some time to take a photo. Several attempts are unsuccessful as usual, until one of them calmly gave up approaches. Rather it was a good place, too much was in the background of grass and other plants. The light was sufficient for photos. Here is my large copper (Lycaena dispar) - female.

Longhorn beetle, Leptura quadrifasciata

Already quite a long time since I presented a new beetle. There was no opportunity to meet and photograph. This time he flew onto the surface of the package and even hang out there long. So I had the opportunity to do a few photos. Here Longhorn beetle (Leptura quadrifasciata). We have several similar species, and one of them some time ago photographed. It was Leptura aurulenta.

Queen of Spain fritillary (Issoria lathonia)

Similar to the butterfly butterfly in the previous post. The color and pattern, but after careful examination are different. It can check with macro both species. In nature, rather it is impossible to simultaneously watching them. Butterflies are almost constantly on the move and to compare this does not make sense. We have a fairly significant amount of butterflies in determining which no doubt. This species requires a thorough look at the best both sides of the wings, but this is not always possible. Here's my butterfly 2 photos. More I could not do, because flew high up among the trees.

Pearl-bordered fritillary (Boloria euphrosyne)

This butterfly pearl-bordered fritillary (Boloria euphrosyne) is fairly common and very similar to many butterflies found in our landscape. Close look can see many differences between butterflies-looking away almost as bes hurry and using various auxiliary sources. . Macro allows you to observe even minimal species differences. When we look at the atlas butterflies, it turns out that the classification is often difficult for an amateur and it's easy to make a mistake. I'm interested in a more aesthetic side of photos, and it depends on a variety of factors, such as light, background and colors. Often butterfly does not allow us to achieve a satisfactory approach. Well, you have to wait for the next opportunity.

The olive skipper (Pyrgus serratulae)

Many people do not see so small and modest coloration of butterflies. Just what macro photography allows them to know and watch carefully. The olive skipper (Pyrgus serratulae) new species to my collection of butterflies. This is my fourth family Hesperiidae. These very small butterflies are difficult to see because of the modest coloring. When we look closely we see its interesting shape and pattern on the wings. I met him on the edge of the woods on the flowers of wild plants. After several attempts I managed to get close and take pictures. Here they are.

about butterflies in August

In August, some species of butterflies end of their life, but others only appear. Some time ago I published photos of butterflies in their full glory, but now, when exactly they look, the wings often lose their intense color and are worn. It is worth to know the time of occurrence of the species in nasym environment. I think that it affects the weather during the spring and summer. When it is rainy or windy it is difficult to see any butterfly. When it is sunny and no wind, it is the best time to photograph butterflies.
The first two pictures are scarce copper (Lycaena virgaureae) - male
next, it the large white (Pieris brassicae)
, another is small skipper (Thymelicus sylvestris)
the last two, the Sooty Copper (Lycaena tityrus) - male

This time also I had little time to take pictures and butterfly flew away. In this area I encountered some other butterflies and moths but about them in the next post.
