large copper (Lycaena dispar)

Approaching autumn and butterflies wanes. Some species just about this time of the easiest to find. Wandering along the edge of the woods looking for mushrooms, but also watched the insects. I saw a few, but they flew and waited some time to take a photo. Several attempts are unsuccessful as usual, until one of them calmly gave up approaches.
