Deers are doing well

Winters can hardly be seen and the deer are doing well. They have enough food and they do not suffer from cold. Recently, the amount of deer has significantly decreased in my area. That is why it is very nice to meet deer grazing in fields and meadows. What else to notice, and what else to get them to photograph well. Be sure to approach the shortest possible distance. These animals are shy. It is good to do it by car, but only when the road passes nearby. Sarny are not really frightened when the car passes by. In this way, with favorable conditions, I took a few photos. It is a pity that the light was scarce and it was not possible to get a good exposure.

deer survived the winter

On Saturday February 25th we had a very good warm and sunny weather. We left on our river Sidra to observe the birds returning in the spring. On the bridge near the Jaczne dostrzeliśmy lapwings and 2 ducks on the water. In the distance they were grazing deer. Then we went to visit a second bridge near Butrymowiec. On the way back we encountered a herd of deer a little closer. The total is 13 deer. The number of these animals decreased significantly after the winter 2014/15. A friend hunter said sarnom lacked drinking water and have benefited from the salt on the roads. Deer do not eat snow, and so do not satisfy thirst. At the second bridge we saw a flock of crows gray, which does not meet elsewhere. Then she noticed a fox aimed in the direction of the river. Here are some pictures from the trip.

back to December 2012

Photographing nature for several years I see changes in our fauna. This year, in December, I watched only a few species of birds. For several years, I have not seen waxwings our guests from the far north. Also, so common in our deer I see rarely and only in amounts of not more like 3-4. Mild winter with a small amount of snow is not the first time, and particularly in December. A little sad when wandering through the forest can not see even a single bird. I do not know what is the reason. Very dry summer and autumn 2015 years probably contributed to this situation. Here are some pictures from December 2012.

the pleasantly end of the morning trip

When we were coming back from maybe last trek on ski about 9.00 a.m. I saw that two roe deers were approaching to the road. I stopped my car and took a few photos for them. It's very joyful view for the end of our morning trip.

24 November 2012

face to face

In this foggy morning in half of November can't expect to take good photo from far distance. This roe deer I've met alone on the green corn. This one perceived me at once but didn't run away. I knew that photos taken in such light would be enough poor but it would be.
