What is it?

On Sunday, May 10, I went to the river. I noticed in several places-flying moths quite large. I had never seen this species. I went back camera and I was able to photograph them. This is the second photo taken on the windshield of the car. I could not find the name of this specimen. Maybe someone knows what it is.

THE COMMON TOAD ( (BUFO BUFO)

We already have the second decade of April and nature comes to life. Already a verdant black cherry, elderberry and other shrubs. Early spring flowers bloomed. On a warm day after the rain appeared amphibians. I went to the town of Bobra, where there are ponds after renovation. There originates river Biebrza known throughout Europe with the Biebrza Marshes. On the road I noticed a cluster of toads that looked unusual. Here are some photographs of the useful amphibians.

The common chaffinch (Fringilla coelebs)

The common chaffinch (Fringilla coelebs), usually known simply as the chaffinch, is a common and widespread small passerine bird in the finch family. Surely everyone has seen it and heard a nice song. Finches are a little smaller than sparrows. The male is more colorful than the female. Males arrive first in late March or early April. This year I noticed on 26 March. Finches spring and summer are insectivores, and only in autumn they feed on grains. Sometimes even two outputs finch breeding. In September and October, fly away to the warm countries. Here’s finches singing so well known. Males typically sing two or three different song types, and there are regional dialects too. aura repeats

     In the past year, if anyone remembers, we had a very similar aurę- fall in December. Could winter will come to us only in mid-January. January 14, 2014, the snow started and soon after quite a lot of frost from the sunny and windy weather. Well, we'll wait and see. In our forest is beautiful, and on 19 December was just the warmest + 12st. Around was quite green, not only because of pines and spruces, but different varieties of lush green moss and ferns. Air damp and smelled wonderful. Here are some pictures from my short trip.

the end of the colourful autumn

   Colorful autumn usually ends in the third week of October. Only a few trees still have some leaves. The days are getting shorter and more cloudy. For wildlife photographer this period is not attractive.  However, in this gray and gloomy landscape, you can see the beauty and bring out the mood.
