the beautiful winter but I wait for spring

  I hope it was our last skiing day. From early morning we went to our forest where had perfect places for skiing. Although here and there already were areas without snow but most fields and forest in white cover. Temperature near zero and the sun warm up more and more. Such long skiing season I haven't had from many years. As always we were alone and only on surface of snow were visible the trails wild animals.

   There is second day of spring but snow is everywhere and at 7 am. we had -15 degrees. There is very good weather for the skiing. Snow is in abundance, the sun we have all day and only nasty wind disturb a little. The short trip take about 1-2 hours. Today I've break down one my ski but have replesments.I used them for about thirty years.

   In March we wait for spring but very often is  hard to find its signs. In this month many times I have seen more snow than in January and temperature below -20 C.

never don't talk " last time"

    In my post from February 26 I've written, that is our last skiing this winter but weather is so changeable and we had two the best days for skiing trek. Snow was so hard and frozen that the ski ran as never before. The sun warmed us and about 11 am snow was melting a little.Below a few photos from this trek

we haven't found signs of the spring time yet

     There came March and I and my wife went to seek signs of the spring time. We were near our small river but even didn't hear and didn't see the birds. It was cold weather and nasty wind didn't allow be there long time. Around there was white landscape and low clouds above us. I've taken a few photos of so gloomy views.Below you can see my photos this short trip.
