we are looking for spring

    The day are more and more longer and warmer. The trees are without leaves but colours of them are very nice. The late aftenoon is good time to see roe deers on the new pastures where green grass hardly visible.

the river return to old river-bed

    Only three days ago our small river was foode wide on grasslands. Now waters flowed down and there and here remained small and larger puddles.Many species of the birds also flew away on the north.The floks of starlings nad trushes are visible on wet grassland.Green colour is hardly visible and only dry last year brown grass.

it is the time for the birch juice

In early spring is the time for the juicing from the birch. It's easy work. There need to do the hole in the birch tree then to hang container for jucie and to put in the wick into the hole and second end to the container.Now you must wait a few hour for result-healty juice. after the flood

    Our small Sidra river this year flooded very widely because huge melted suddenly snow. After four days waters returned to previous level.There can see green grass and sometimes roes deer which graze near the river.

the spring waters

     From many years I haven't seen so widely flooded our small Sidra river. Winter was especially long and snowy to April 10th. Suddenly high temperature melted huge amount of snow. It's very joyful view, when you see so much of water and voices of wild bird on water and above at blue the sky.

This longest winter finished at last.

    This winter was extremely long. Almost from half of November to 9 April we had the skiing season. Sometimes there are very marvellous days but very often dull, windy and cloudy weather. Snow fell many times and I had much work with it. These photo were taken in last day of skiing season. Weather was perfect and snow hard as before ever.
