plain Horse Fly
I photographed among other unknown insects fly. I sent a photo of the photographic portal and had quite a lot of interest. Even got such a comparison. Wings is like chiffon straight princessa. On another site my friend identified the name of this fly - the Common Horse Fly (Haematopota pluvialis)
It's only surprise. I've never watched carefully Horse Fly closely. If you noticed, they either ran away or died. Here below is the photo this one..Really, that nice. By the way, even other the tiny fly.

two new butterflies this summer
I want to introduce two species of the butterflies that recently I've taken about Mikaszewo lake. The first is quite similar to another butterfly shown in the previous post, It's Glanville Fritillary (Melitaea cinxia). This species is Meadow Fritillary (Melitaea parthenoides) . The latter, a butterfly bigger and very beautiful High Brown Fritillary (Fabriciana adippe) - is a butterfly of the Nymphalidae family

the afternoon excursion to the river
The late afternoon is a good time for taking photos of insects, if weather isn't bad.The butterlies, the beetles and other insects aren't so active as in midday and you can easily take a picture. It's true that lightis quite poor but with tripod it's taking of photos no problem. These photos were taken almost in 8.00 p.m.
